April Kit-Mother's Day Mini Album

Photobucket

I am excited to share my April kit with you.  I hope you will enjoy this bright and colorful mini album as much as I have.  It was created using Crate Paper's new Emma's Shoppe line.  I made it with Mother's Day in mind, but you also have the option to change the title to Friend or Love if you would prefer.  My favorite part of this album is the pack of vintage buttons!  They remind me of digging around for treasures in my grandmothers sewing bins.

If you haven't ever tried one of my kits you will be amazed at how easy they are to assemble.  All of the pieces in this album come completely pre cut and ready to assemble. All you have to do is add ink and glue!

I've learned alot from my Mother but one thing that always sticks with me is "If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all"...great advice!

  2. How adorable! Your album makes me feel like I'm back in Utah again shopping around at all the fun scrapbook/craft stores! Oh how I wish I was!!!
One thing that I learned from my mother is that when life is overwhelming and stressful, just take it a day at a time. Then is doesn't seem so hard.
    I hope I win!!!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Kelly,

Way cute album! I'm assuming it's a cinch to put together as your instructions are always so easy! I miss you lots. My mom taught me to make things by hand, she taught me to sew and tried the crochet thing but my left handedness got in the way so when I wanted to learn to knit, she taught herself so she could teach me. I was ten years old and it was fun sitting across from her creating together!
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

  5. Hi Kelly,

Love the album! My mom taught me how to be thrifty! She refrained from buying things wherever possible and taught me how to be creative and have fun with what we already had on hand.

    Thanks!

  8. Kelly, Super cute album. My mom taught me to craft and she did it all right down to the 1960's resin grapes. I loved learning from her and crafting with her. I wish she was still able to do a project with me.

  9. I love this album! One of the many things my mom has taught me is that when you set your mind to something- anything is possible. I frequently get discouraged when I am sewing or trying to do something that I am not very good at and she is always so good to remind me that it is possible.

  11. Another great album Kelly! My mom taught me to laugh at life when things got tough... she always had a funny saying for everything that would get her through anything. She passed away just before Mother's Day last year and not a day goes by that I don't think of one of her funny sayings!
