Red, White and Blue...Let's Craft!

It seems like I came home from Peru and now summer is in full swing!  That means the 4th of July is just a few weeks away.  The "Summer Bug" has definitely bit me.  I want to be in t-shirts and flipflops and go to movies instead of going to sleep at a reasonable hour.

I love the month of July! It is filled with parades and fireworks, especially here in Utah where we celebrate our state on the 24th. Decorating for July is on my to do list today. The options for red, white and blue decor are limitless! To get those creative juices flowing, I thought I would share a few bits of Americana inspiration I discovered around the web.
Find instructions for this fun vintage banner at Country Living.

Nothing says the 4th of July like a banner.  This twine and fabric scrap garland would be so simple to create on your own, or you can buy it ready made from A Little Frayed.  She has several other great Americana banners as well.
You know I am always a sucker for a Martha craft, and I love a medallion! This project has me written all over it.
This banner, showed on Ginger Snap Crafts came mostly pre made, but you could duplicate it using brown paper bag/chipboard and pre-packaged stars from the dollar store.
Not exactly decore, but what a fun party favor these would make. Get the full instructions from Martha.
One more for the party circut.  These hats from Country Living are adorable!  I want to attend this party.
This little Lady Liberty is a perfect little piece!  Get the download and instructions on Country Living...they really hit the jackpot this year!
